Nootau sighed deeply, giving the carcass a passionate, sanginary lick. He admitted defeat here, let it go. he just couldn't consume any more of the moose. He circles, snuffing and circling, and lays curled up in the center of the pack. He listened o their gentle sounds of life. "Good night Alpha. Good night girls. Good night Anthoro. Good night Moose baby." He returned Snowcap's eyes, wanting to explain it all but wanted to wait until everyone else was asleep.

Tsuki howled slightly as if saying goodnight to everyone and curled up next to Snowcap. She liked this male and his new ideas.
"Thank you snowcap for your kindness. May i sleep next to you tonight?"

"You may Tsuki, but first I must talk with my Beta." Snowcap nodded towards Nootau, motioning slightly to a sheltered area next to a pine. They would have their meeting there.
"I will return," he said quietly to the white she-wolf, his eyes shining with radient gold. Snowcap padded silently up to the pine, waiting for Nootau to follow.

Snowcap padded between the sleeping bodies and lay next to Tsuki, his side against hers. He sighed, wondering if he had made the right decision to lead this new and varied pack.

Tsuki's ears twitched and she felt Snowcap lye down next to her. She opened her eyes and looked at him. He eyes had hardened slightly. She raised her head and licked his muzzle.
"Is everything alright?"

"Yes, it's alright," he answered softly, though his voice sounded somewhat melancholy. "I have a small case of indecision, that's all." He snuggled up next to the she-wolf, suddenly comforted by her presence.
He would figure this out; the balance between instinct and the free spirit.

Nootau stepped up a few feet from the dozing wolves, exhasperated and stiff. He looks to the other wolves, then to Snow again. He thunders a quiet growl softly in his throat. "You just don't get it, do you." he says. "your leadership is humanesque and one-sided. You have to do for the good of all of us." He stands rigidly, tail with crook.

Snowcap, hearing the growl, answered with a snarl, "Is that a challenge?!" He jumped to his feet and held his tail high, bristling at every part of his body. He had made his decision now. Forget the past. It was time to take a new path, down a new region of life. Now was his time to be brutally instinctual. Snowcap would rule with dominance, and reveal the icy interior of his calm personality.
"If you wish to remain my beta, Nootau, I suggest you take your place by those ferns and sleep. We move out in the morning after eating as much as we can from the yearling. It's time we found a territory suitable for our pack." With his last words, he padded back to Tsuki and curled up, tucking his maw under his tail. He closed his cold silver eyes, and fell into a gentle sleep.

Nootau held his place standing, refusing to stop growling. He didn't wish to hurt his friend Snowcap at all but he was overcome with instinct. "You just don't get it do you? If you're gonna give her some kind of special treatment too because she's also so whitened, I refuse to submit to you. What about the rest of us? I feel too young to rise here, but are you any older in mind at all? What the hell are you? A dog? Where's your loyalty for our wolf fathers? What are you doing? How could you be so gullible?" He paced back and forth, trying to retract his adrenaline and nervous energy from his bloodstream, but most likely in vain.

As Nootau was still growling, Snowcap had trouble getting to sleep. He got up and paced around, extremely agitated. Nootau had definite points, but he wasn't really treating Tsuki different than the other wolves, was he? She was the only wolf who had approached him so far, not including Nootau. It wasn't her coat that attracted him either.
Snowcap heard Nootau's outrage, and refused to hear anymore. With his tail erect, he charged the brown wolf and grabbed him by the neck with his sharpened fangs, hoping to shake some sense into the young male.

Nootau twists, catching Snow's jaws on the side of his back and nape. He pulls back, jaws groping for the front of Snow's shoulder, anywhere he could make the Alpha shrink back and understand and just see what was really going on. He counteracts by snarling audibly and nipping at Snow's chest, pushing forward to loosen the growing shock on his nape. He doesn't have the upper hand though and gives up, somehwat, and stops attacking until Snowcap loosened his grip.

Tsuki jumped to her feet hearing Nootau's remark about her. A growl began to form in the back of her throat.Tsuki's tail raised and she snarled.
"Even if your are our Beta, i will not stand for that attitude towards me!"
She was about to attack Nootau but saw Snowcap rush in and attack him. She was slightly taken aback that Snowcap had reacted the way he had. Was part of this for her sake. She stayed where she was watching the fight.

Snowcap tightened his grip on Nootau, feeling a trickle of blood on his tongue. This was as far as he wanted to go; there was no point in injuring his beta, no matter how angry he was at him. Snowcap let go, snarling thunderously. His eyes were shades darker, going on a metallic black instead of his usual silver. His tail stood up dangerously, and his whole body seemed to shout in dominance.
"Remember your place Nootau!" he growled. "The fight will end here. I've had enough of this nonsense! We move out tomorrow, I hope you will be ready." With that, he trotted to a boulder nearby and leaped to the top, surveying his newfound pack. This was the beginning of his new life, and he wouldn't let one wolf ruin it.
As his calmer side took over, he sat more comfortably on the rock, his furry body noticably relaxing. He looked towards Nootau, somewhat apologetic, and towards Tsuki, smiling in her direction. Everything will be better in the morning... He thought.

"It's not a fucking fight. You need more than just body strength to be a good leader." His green eyes remained still, unapolegetically. He didn't look at Snowcap with hatred, just exasperation. He was slightly angry at Tsuki though, for mindlessly stepping forth to fight when this had nothing to do with her. He felt as if she might be kissing up to gain status. No, this is unity, for all of us, for life, one must understand. He trots off, to the trees, wondering nothing.

Tsuki glared after Nootau as he wandered off into the trees, but her tail came down and she flattened her ears to her head. Her muzzle dropped. She had spoken out of terms to the Beta. She looked up at Snowcap briefly and wandered off into the trees in the opposite direction. It wasnt long before she came to a cliff edge and looked down at the rolling landscape. She sat down and stared up at the moon. She was angry that Nootau had mentioned about her fur. She couldnt help it, but she hated being different. She didnt want to get kicked out of this pack as well. She liked Snowcap. He seemed to be the one who made her feel safe and as an Alpha she felt she had a duty to stay by his side. She also liked his new ideas. But what if Nootau persuaded him to think like him and she would be treated like an Omega. She wimpered. She then raised her muzzle to the sky and howled. Letting all emotion wash over her.
