Robert Jordan, age 58, died last Sunday of a rare blood disease called amyloidosis. He was in the middle of writing the last book of his best selling series, "The Wheel of Time." He has asked that no one finish the book...
Personally, I think that The Wheel of Time is one of the best series out there. It kills me to know that the last book will never be read. I know that I am howling, howling for the loss of one of the best writers to ever exist on this Earth.
My question is, Have any of you read his series?

I've never heard of him. In fact, I don't believe I've ever mourned the death of someone famous or that I didn't know personally. I don't think I've mourned the death of anyone except my gradfather who i didn't know well at all. Sorry to hear that though, it's always a shame when a creative, talented person passes away. There's not enough people in this world open-minded enough to even write a book at all.
